When the crimping method is selected, the conductor should not be crimped, and the cross section of the contact should meet the requirements of Appendix A. When selecting brazing method, corrosive flux is not allowed. The solder joints shall be lubricated, and no defects such as missed welding, incomplete penetration and flux mixing are allowed. When no solder welding method is selected, oxidation, broken wire, defect and melting of insulation layer are not allowed on the welding surface. As shown in the figure below, the transition part a between welded and unwelded should be in arc shape, and the unwelded conductor end can be seen in area B. The contact shall be firm, and shall not be damaged or disconnected under the specified tension. The tension value of automobile harness tape shall not be less than the specified value.
