Fixing pipeline with 3M adhesive tape

In our daily nursing work, due to the needs of condition observation, treatment and rehabilitation, elderly patients often need to retain a variety of pipelines. Pipeline safety nursing becomes particularly important. A little carelessness will lead to unplanned extubation and other accidents. Therefore, we accumulate according to our daily experience, The 3M adhesive tape commonly used in clinic was innovatively applied to pipeline fixation, and a good clinical effect was obtained.

In short, 3M adhesive tape is cut into different shapes according to different specifications and fixed parts of different pipelines, such as "m", "n", "H" and "t" as shown in the above figure, which can be flexibly combined with different pipelines to achieve the purpose of proper fixation.

1、 Fixation of gastric tube

Materials required: "T-shaped", small "H-shaped" 3M tape

"T-shaped" adhesive tape fixes the nasal wing and small "H-shaped" adhesive tape fixes the cheek to achieve the purpose of double fixation.
