According to the type of adhesive, acetate tape can be divided into rubber acetate tape and acrylic acetate tape. According to the use requirements of different electrical products, it is necessary to add flame retardant and conduct flame retardant treatment on the base material. The finished product is "flame retardant acetate cloth" if it can achieve self extinguishing (fire prevention) without fire retardant; the product without flame retardant is "non flame retardant acetate cloth tape" if it can be ignited and cannot be extinguished automatically. Generally speaking, the base material and adhesive of acetate cloth can't prevent fire. It needs special processing to achieve the effect of "flame retardant".
Acetate cloth has strong moisture absorption and air permeability, good resilience, easy to wash and dry, no static electricity and wool ball, and excellent aging resistance, which can reach more than 15 years. The adhesive tape made of acetate cloth substrate has the characteristics of high temperature resistance, anti-aging, softness and obedient, good shape, easy to cut, easy to make up, acid proof, alkali resistant and mildew resistant. The insulation performance is better than that of general glass cloth and glass cloth, and is widely used in the manufacturing field of TV, transformer, air conditioner, computer and so on.
